1-Oct-13: Searching, searching, not finding...

When you visit the page on the UN's website that carries live television coverage of the General Assembly session now underway [this page], you can search for speakers by the countries they represent. Click on the button, and you get a scrolling list of countries.

Interestingly, if you search for Israel... it isn't there. See the screenshot below.

This probably has no significance at all.

[UPDATE: A friendly source has pointed out that the absence of Israel might simply be a timing issue i.e. the Israeli prime minister's speech is not yet available for viewing. We'll wait and see. Meanwhile, today's speech by Binyamin Netanyahu is on-line. Both text and video can be viewed here.]
