10-Jun-12: A phone call from the government's lawyers
We were notified in the past hour that our appeal to those responsible in the legal system fell on unhearing ears. It appears Nizar al-Tamimi, convicted murderer, sentenced to life imprisonment and released in October 2011 in the Shalit deal on strict conditions preventing him from leaving a certain defined area, had already been permitted - contrary to the terms of his conditional release from prison - to cross over into Jordan this past Thursday. He is evidently there now.
